WHIPPERSNAPPERS™
The Tennis Farm’s Whippersnapper Program (ages 3-5 years) is for children interested in tennis and having fun! We teach real tennis, introducing basic tennis fundamentals with an emphasis on hand-eye coordination and footwork exercises.
Class Description: Whippersnappers will have a mix of hitting drills, footwork drills, and tennis skill building exercises. Instructors blend tennis coordination exercises with stroke development while focusing on hand-eye coordination activities. Instructors use the USTA 10 and under tennis Quickstart method and the appropriately sized mini tennis net and balls on 1/4 of a full court. Activities are imaginative and fun, so that learning tennis is enjoyable to even the youngest tennis players!
Class Size: All classes have a student to instructor ratio of 4:1. Instructors are trained tennis professionals, experienced in dealing with young children.

MINI ACES
The Tennis Farm’s Mini Aces Tennis Program (ages 5-7 years) is for children interested in tennis and having fun! We teach real tennis, introducing basic tennis fundamentals with an emphasis placed on hand-eye coordination and footwork exercises.
Class Description: Instruction for this age level involves drills, games, exercises and hand-eye coordination activities that build tennis skills.
Instructors lead fun, tennis-based activities that teach core tennis concepts. Children then move on to hitting drills covering: tennis volleys, overheads, serving, and forehands. Classes are set up according to the USTA 10 and under tennis Quickstart method, using 1/4 of the full court in order to better match the ages, sizes, and skill levels of 5-7 year olds.
Class Size: All classes have a student to instructor ratio of 5:1. All instructors are trained tennis professionals, experienced in dealing with young children.
JUNIOR ACES
Junior Aces Tennis Program, is for beginners and advanced beginners between the ages of 7-10 years old. This program introduces students to tennis in a fun environment. Students learn the technical fundamentals of the forehand, backhand, serve, overhead, and volley. In each class they receive help with technique, participate in high energy tennis drills, hit balls and partake in fun games. With each session, students will improve their understanding of tennis and muscle memory.
Class Description: Junior Aces Tennis focuses on proper technique, ball contact, follow through, and movement. In addition, students learn the rules of the game and how to play a full singles and doubles match. Depending on skill level, students may also be introduced to spin shots and other technically advanced skills. Junior Aces courts are set up according to the USTA 10 and under Tennis Quickstart method, taking up 1/2 of a full tennis court in order to match the skills, ages, and abilities of 7-10 year olds.
Class Formats: All classes have a student to instructor ratio of 6:1. All instructors are trained tennis professionals, who specialize in dealing specifically with children in this age group.
ACES
The Aces Tennis Program (ages 10-16) is for intermediate or advanced players. The goal is to learn and improve their tennis strokes: forehands, backhands, serves, volleys, and more. Students learn how to play a full doubles and singles tennis match. In addition, players work on adding power and topspin to ground strokes, while also improving their reflexes and speed with their footwork and strokes.
All instructors are trained tennis professionals, experienced in dealing specifically with kids in this age group.
ACES MINI-CAMP
The Aces Tennis Program – Competitive Play, for more advanced players, is targeted towards students interested in playing tournaments or high school tennis. Drills are more advanced and students will be challenged to have longer and more controlled rally and point play, use topspin and under spin shots. Students improve their topspin consistency, serve, game strategy and power. (Students should have taken 2-3 years of tennis instruction to do this program).
